Those who truly appreciate fashion know that it's, ALWAYS ABOUT THE SHOES. We, die hard fashionistas, not only view them as an accessory to complete our ensemble but really as wearable art on our feet. Sometimes we dress them accordingly to compliment our outfit for that day. But, majority of the time at the end our decision making process is this; we utilize them as statement pieces.
As each fashion season passes by, the structure of the shoe seem to slowly morph into a vision of the future. Increase in height, change in shape of the heel, excessive hardware + embellishments, unusual color combos & tons of tedious workmanship that I can go on for days about.
It's a new era in footwear. From high end, luxe designers to the mainstream, commercial designers everyone is riding the same wave. The transition & direction of this shoe frenzy is almost mind boggling. Anything goes. The ever so popular stiletto heel isn't the only front runner anymore.

Hey hey! Words can't even describe how ecstatic I am to finally share with you my first official blog post. After much debate(mostly procrastanation),it hit me. It's about that time. The perfect time to leap into the blogospere.
I've tried time and time to categorize my personal style into one genre and I just can't seem to find one to fit it under. That's the irony in fashion. You don't have to.I seem to fall in love with all. I try to visualize things for what is, what it was and what it can be. Style should be simple. In the wise words of fashion guru Tim Gunn,"Make it work."
Follow me through my journey as I share with you my passion for fashion fueled by the various forms of inspiration I take in all around me. Channeling it through Big Easy livin', of course.
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
